The Fine Print
Tax is additional.
With regret, there is no credit or allowance for unused or undesired parts of our wedding packages.
Alcohol is not permitted without a one day license. If you are using a caterer, he/she can make the arrangements for you. In accordance with Virginia law, no one under 21 years of age may taste, sip or drink alcohol even with parental/guardian permission.
Planning on throwing rice at the newlyweds? Please, instead throw bird seed…. It’s much more environmentally friendly and please, throw it outside. Thanks!
We do not cook with, serve or provide artificial sweeteners.
All wedding activities including arrivals, any decorating or set up shall be begin and end during the reserved time. With regret, no early arrivals or late departures.
If you would like additional time either before or after the package times stated, we are happy to offer extended time by prior reservation for an additional fee. Please make your requests, if any, when making your reservations.
A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to make a reservation. With regret, no reservations are made without a deposit. Requesting a date without a deposit does not reserve the date.
The balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding.
Payment in full is required when reserving for wedding scheduled 4 weeks in advance or less.
A Cheesecake Farms representative will be on site during your wedding to manage the venue but cannot act as a wedding coordinator. Please be sure to have someone to manage details of your wedding and reception.
The number count of people includes the bride and groom, family, the wedding party, children, guests and witnesses.
Rest rooms in the Mane House and Barn are not wheel chair accessible. Please advise if guests require wheel chair accommodations. Arrangements can be made for their comfort.
Cancellations
4 weeks before the wedding – Full refund less the 50% deposit
Less than 4 weeks before the event – No refund
In the unlikely event that Cheesecake Farms or its assigns has to cancel your event for whatever reason, you will receive a complete refund (including your deposit) which will be the full extent our liability.
