From 1985 until 2005, a tiny, little country house just outside of historic Fredericksburg, Virginia was the epi-center of the cheesecake world.  

Every day, Karla and her talented staff took pounds and pounds of cream cheese and fashioned it into flavors never before seen in the metro-Washington DC area. 

Flavors like Cappuccino, White Chocolate, Fudgie Brownie, Rum Raisin and Key Lime became instant cheesecake classics.  Her cheesecake truffles graced the finest tables everywhere from Embassy Row to The Supreme Court dining room.     

While these flavors may seem common today and readily available, in those days, they were new and ground breaking. 

When it came time for Karla to retire, she published her recipes in this limited edition cook book as a thank you to all her devoted customers.  She thought that maybe, just may, they would like to make her cheesecakes at home.  Included in the cook book are tips and tricks Karla picked up along the way plus a few stories. 

We thought this cook book was sold out but, recently, we found about a dozen copies in our archives.
