The Food

The food is the most important part of Thanksgiving and no one does country cooking better than we do at Cheesecake Farms.

We'll have a real, old fashioned, Virginia Thanksgiving Feast planned for you complete with all the trimmings - and you'll be in the kitchen with Karla…cooking and learning !

A vegetarian entree will be the star of the feast but we won't stop there.
We'll also have stuffing, home made gravy and so many veggies you won't know which to taste first.

It will be such a wonderfully traditional Thanksgiving dinner that you'll never miss the meat!

Dessert.  Did I mention dessert?

Desserts to die for!  So yummy, so wonderful and (surprise) maybe even a little healthy!

You'll learn techniques and tips for re-creating your favorites at home.

Much of our food, by the way, is locally grown, raised or produced - even from our own gardens.

There'll be local wines a plenty, too.

Dinner will be served family style in the Mane House dining room.
You'll be seated right along with your Inn Keepers and share the dining table with the other guests
Expect lively conversation steeped with good taste and tradition as you enjoy the fruits of your labor.

The nice part about sharing your Thanksgiving with us is that there are no crowds to deal with or rushed servers.  You become part of our family.
All you have to do is relax, reconnect and marvel at what you were so easily able to prepare
..... and how GREAT it all tastes!!

The menu is cook's choice based on the best available ingredients.
Who knows what you and Karla will be whipping up but, you can bet, she'll show you how to make it all de-lish !
