If you like traditional B&B accommodations, Suite Basil is for you!
Located on the upper level of the Mane House.
Suite Basil over looks the Mane House garden and, in summer, the fields of fragrant, growing basil.
Quilts, quilts and more quilts is how we decorate Suite Basil.
Suite Basil is an oversized room with a sitting area.
There are lots of windows and a ceiling fan to catch cool country breezes.
The bed is a king size and you'll sleep like a baby on the select number bed.
With the touch of a button, you can adjust each side of the mattress for you personal sleeping comfort from extra soft to extra firm.
The bath is shared with one other room (Suite William - on the same floor) and features a shower.
Snuggle into our fluffy terry robes and relax with a cup of coffee or tea from the coffee bar located right in your room.
Food
Each evening, you will be treated to a cook's choice, seasonal, old fashioned, farm house supper made just like you would, if you had the time. We love to use local produce (and much of it from our own gardens...), organic dairy, free range chickens and eggs, local beef.
We do GREAT vegetarian fare, too!
Just let us know whether your prefer a regular or vegetarian menu.
And we're happy to accommodate food preferences whenever we're able.
For breakfast, get up at your leisure and stroll down to the Mane House for our generous help yourself, hearty hunt country breakfast. Farm fresh eggs, Country style French toast ..... who knows what we'll be whipping up!!!
Want to sleep in?
A light breakfast is available later in the morning.
Home made granola, muffins and breakfast breads, coffee, tea, and juice.
You can enjoy breakfast in the dining room, take it back to your room or, in warm weather, breakfast on our huge deck.
